The Eagles Mere Foundation’s charitable assets are invested using five pools of investments created to reflect donors’ investment preferences.
The guiding principle of fund management is to promote the prudent stewardship of gifts entrusted to the Eagles Mere Foundation for programs that have a direct and positive impact on the Eagles Mere Community.

Investment Management
The overriding investment goals of the Eagles Mere Foundation are to produce a strong and growing level of income in order to provide current funding for the Foundation’s various programs and to generate capital appreciation to maintain the purchasing power of the Foundation’s assets over time considering the effects of inflation.
Our investment approach provides a buffer against inevitable downturns in the stock and bond markets, allowing us to continue meaningful granting even during recessionary times.
We offer eight primary investment pools for charitable assets. Donors may recommend the pool that fits best with their charitable plans. We invest in ultra-low-cost Vanguard funds and currently there are no administrative fees charged by the Eagles Mere Foundation.
Investments shall be limited to the Investment Pools as established by the Foundation’s Investment Committee. Current Investment Pools (Sept. 8. 2026) include:
