Meeting Ever-Changing Needs
The Fund for Eagles Mere is an unrestricted fund of about $500,000 that addresses emerging needs of the Eagles Mere community through an annual grants process. Over the past five years the Fund for Eagles Mere has granted $78,634 to support the immediate needs of Eagles Mere organizations.
Your unrestricted gift can help address a broad range of local Eagles Mere needs-including future issues that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made. The Foundation evaluates all aspects of Eagles Mere’s well-being: arts and culture, economic development, recreation and health, and more. The flexibility of your unrestricted gift enables the Eagles Mere Foundation’s board of directors to respond to the most pressing requirements of Eagles Mere, today and tomorrow.
Grants from this fund have been both sizeable and slight; from replacing historical markers, to building a storage shed for the Eagles Mere Athletic Association and fixing the town clock to providing a grant to the Eagles Mere Conservancy to renovate a historic transit stop.
This fund is made up of unrestricted donations from community members and memorial gifts.
